Overview
There is a demand for skilled and qualified welder fabricators and employers increasingly need committed, well trained and enthusiastic workers. By completing this course you will increase your skills and knowledge to become a valuable team member.
Welding is the most widely used process to create permanent joints between metal parts and is used across the full range of engineering industries. Learners studying this qualification will develop skills to be able to mark out and cut using intermediate and advance methods. Students will gain the essential practical and theoretical skills in a wide variety of welding processes.
This qualification will demonstrate to an employer that you have gained the right knowledge and experience to help them in their business and encourage them to invest in you and your career.
The course provides vocationally related knowledge, skills and competence which will improve employability within these vocations.
