Schools Partnership Programme
Southern Regional College works with 25 schools as part of the School Partnerships Programme. The programme has 1,400 pupils from the four Area Learning Communities of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon and Newry.
Area Learning Communities provide an opportunity to develop the Entitlement Framework, individually and collectively, for delivery of education on an area basis. Schools have a shared responsibility for the delivery of the Entitlement Framework for all of the young people in an area.
As part of the School Partnership Programme, pupils from local schools attend Southern Regional College to study a range of vocational and academic programmes from Countryside and Environment; Childcare; Hair and Beauty; Computing; Engineering and Construction; Plumbing; Electrical; Media; Catering; Travel and Tourism. These programmes range from Occupational Studies to BTECs and A-Levels.
