Overview
There is a demand across the country for skilled and qualified paint technicians and employers increasingly need committed, well trained and enthusiastic workers. By completing this course you will increase your skills, knowledge and performance and become a valuable team member.
This course will interest you if you are wishing to further your career and qualifications in vehicle accident repair or customisation and have an interest in working as a paint sprayer. You will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through the completion of specialist units. You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of colour theory. Practical activities are completed in fully resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff.
This qualification will demonstrate to an employer that you have gained the right knowledge and experience to help them in their business and encourage them to invest in you and your career.
The course provides vocationally related knowledge and skills, which will improve employability within these vocations. Successful completion of units or the full award can contribute to the achievement of a VCQ when employed.
